Station Incident — February 18, 2026
Anemometer and battery damage from neighborhood electrical work.
During electrical maintenance work in the neighborhood on February 18, 2026, a lineman dropped equipment onto the weather station, damaging the anemometer and the station battery.
As a result, the station has been intermittently offline. Wind data is unreliable and the station may drop off entirely when battery reserves run low.
Repairs are in progress. Archive data recorded prior to the incident remains intact.
